This is one beauty of a violet! It took 4 coats to cover my vnl, but most people, 2-3 will probably work fine. This is another lovely from Jessika of PolishInsomniac. I couldn’t leave off after a week of wearing her pretties. There are soo many more! I think this is the most hated bottle in the world, but the polish itself was great. It dried pretty quickly (despite the slight dent in my index finger.) It’s got micro-glitter shimmer inside so I don’t even know what to call this polish! Just wowsa! It really glows from within.

How Jessika finds these polishes, I’ll never know. My stores are lame, sold out, never carry them… so Jess finds these gems for me. This one is a deep purple shimmer, and this is no topcoat. Supershiny and only 2 coats! A win-win-win!

Milani Totally Cool

I’ve decided to make this PolishInsomniac week! All the polishes from this week were given to me by my sweet Jessika. (She’s mine, but I’ll share!) She has gifted me with way more polishes than I can swatch in a week, but I’m going to do my best! (Imagining it’ll br more like a couple months, lol!) This little Milani beauty came to me in a load of purples (my favorite!) and I’ve been waiting for ages to try it. First coat is really thin and blue looking, second coat takes on more of the glitter and purple look, third coat is a charm! You can still make out a bit of my vnl, but I wasn’t going to do a 4 coater and it really doesn’t need 4. It’s so pretty I don’t wanna take it off yet! Tons of glitter in there, it’s almost a jelly-like suspension holding up all that glitter. It’s fantastic! Thanks again, Jessika!

This is another lovely from Jessika of PolishInsomniac. I couldn’t capture the beauty of this polish and dh insists it’s black. But it isn’t! It’s the darkest purple ever, with purple microglitter. It went on fantastically smooth and opaque in two coats! That’s great for me, as I have a real strong visible nail line and typically need 3-5 coats to be fully opaque on most polishes. Another beauty! Thank you, Jessika! (I do believe this is Jesskia month here! I have plenty of polishes from Her Royal Sweetness to do that!)

I’m probably the last one to get ahold of this polish. I don’t “go shopping” much, This a really, unbelievable deep blue cream. It looks black, but it’s not. The darkest blue I’ve ever seen. I probably did a half-assed job here, sorry. I got to playing. It did go on great, the application problem was my fault. It was also really opaque; this picture is just 2 coats. Paid 1.39, it’s a winner!

Not the best picture, I’m still perfecting the lightbox! This polish applies amazingly well and I love the brush. I used 3 coats but 2 is probably good. Dh says this is exactly the color of wet cement, so I guess it’s very accurate! To me, the color is a little lighter, more dove grey. Overall, a big winner!! I do love these polishes, they’re just always sold out around here! I felt really lucky to find this one!

A polish I LOVE as bronzes are some of my fave shades. Jessika found this beauty and thought of me! :D It is almost a one coater, but I used two because I’m an addictive painter! The formula is really smooth on this, too, very easy to apply and not thin at all (nor goopy or thick!). This is a deep bronze with a very golden flash. Baroque Bronze is the perfect name for this color. Thanks, Jessika!

This pic is taken indoors. I hoped to have a sunny day today so you can see how pretty this polish really is. Goes on every bit as good as any ChG or OPI. This is 4 coats to get maximun opacity. I love purple and random holo, so this polish screamed to me!

The sweet and lovely jbrobeck sent me this little angel! I used two  coats, and I must say this is a lovely polish. It goes on great. Zenith is a medium purple with a big flash! It’s a winner! :D Thank you again, sugar!

Milani Ruby Jewels

Red with red glitter. Not too unusual, but it is a little more red than red-pink. I’ve been looking for MY Ruby Pumps, and I think it’s OPIs Smitten With Mittens. I like deeper reds, not pinkish reds. This one did go on great, though, dried fast for a glitter and has alot of depth to it. The glitter/jelly effect is very pretty.

Here is an inside pic of Milani Gold Lame’. Not a great pic, sorry. This is almost what I’d call an 18K gold. It’s very yellow and frosty. I am not a good judge of frosts, as I such at applying them, but this is one I would wear if I could apply it properly. I imagine it requires patience, of which I’m tapped out of lately!

Easier… SHCSM… maybe not! The brush is odd, and you look at it like…wha?? Then you try it, and amazingly, it works. It appears like a chewed up pro-wide. I bought a load of these at Walmart, remembered I was on a no- buy and took them all but this one back. But it’s okay. >:P Fairy Teal is darker and more bluish than Misa Dirty, Sexy Money. Definitely Teal! Definitely creamy. Applies real easily with the weird-ass brush, dries ultra fast! Wishing there were more colors… and I can only assume there will be.

Wet N Wild Craze Rustic

Wet n Wild Craze Rustic

Wet n Wild Craze Rustic

FINALLY found these polishes at a Fred Meyer! They are really pretty and I wish I had gotten back ups because the bottles are teensy! This one called Rustic is just what it says…it looks rusty- shimmery, not quite as broze as some others, definitely more rust. I absolutely love it, but I have a love for shades of brown. It went on easily, soon as I got used to the teeny bottle, which makes for a stumpy brush. Dried fast, no regrets, looking for more!

WnW Craze Morbid

Love. Not another like it that I have. Took me forever to locate these teensy little Wet N Wild Craze polishes… it’s ridiculous. A full three months after everyone else in the country had them! But I love them and want more. Though I must say, the color Jade is just not for me! They go on nice, the stumpy brush is weird but I already said that, dry fast. This one, Morbid, is a deep cypress green…it makes me think of eucalyptus at Pier 1, which I love, too. Lots of soft shimmer in this blackened green.

Justice No-Name Blue Glitter

Justice No name blue glitter

Justice No name blue glitter

I picked this little glitter polish up at a tweenie store called Justice. I couldn’t resist the blue glittery goodness. It’s actually alot prettier on than I could picture it, and it’s a bit thin, but overall it is a nice polish. Dreis fast, so 3 coats is no big deal. However, I do have some Justice matte neons and they don’t have the stay power of this one or the good looks!

Sally Hansen Black Diamond

It’s hard to tell in the picture, but this polish has lots of tiny holo micro-glitter. It’s actually darker than a usual charcoal color, and it looks almost greenish in some lighting from the holo glitter. I found these for 4$ at Walmart, a couple of colors I liked, so I got them. They go on really well. The brush on these is very nice and easy to use, a little wider than most brushes.

Sally Hansen Forever Lilac

Forever Lilac is another micro-glitter polish. It’s like one of my fave colors in the bottle, somewhere between pink and purple, but it goes on a little pinker than is right for my warmer skintone, I think. As a summer polish, I love it. The brush is wider than most, and it makes the polish very easy to apply. I’d like to try some more colors in this polish brand, but they don’t seem to have many unusual ones that I’ve found in the Diamond Strength. But I’ll keep looking!

Sinful Daddy's Girl

Sinful’s Daddy’s Girl is a full-on jelly polish and it is a beaut! Medium-deep purple  with purple micro-glitter suspended in jelly. It looks more blue here, but it is very purple in real life.

Another view of the jelly polish to better see how “jellified” it really is! Most definitely worth the 2 bucks, huh?

Oh, if all polishes dried this fast I’d be the happiest person EVER! 50 seconds… dry. I used two coats here, and the formula was a little thinner than I expected, but it went on pretty well. Beautiful berry with a bit of irridesence to it.

Pure Ice Siren

Whooo hooo! This is definitely a bright bright red-orange. Kinda thin formula, goes on smooth. Two coats on here was plenty. It just doesn’t go on as smoothly as say, an Orly. It isn’t thick enough for that. Pretty colors, though!
