Wet n Wild Megalast in Disturbia

How Jessika finds these polishes, I’ll never know. My stores are lame, sold out, never carry them… so Jess finds these gems for me. This one is a deep purple shimmer, and this is no topcoat. Supershiny and only 2 coats! A win-win-win!

This is another lovely from Jessika of PolishInsomniac. I couldn’t capture the beauty of this polish and dh insists it’s black. But it isn’t! It’s the darkest purple ever, with purple microglitter. It went on fantastically smooth and opaque in two coats! That’s great for me, as I have a real strong visible nail line and typically need 3-5 coats to be fully opaque on most polishes. Another beauty! Thank you, Jessika! (I do believe this is Jesskia month here! I have plenty of polishes from Her Royal Sweetness to do that!)

Orly Vintage Jungle Love from Jessika

I’m guessing 80s-90s here? I remember this bottle style, but I have no others like it. It has a silver top. The polish is chock full of formaldehyde and toulene, so don’t even think about it if you plan on a pregnancy! MY darling sweet Jessika of PolishInsomniac sent me this baby, and I love it to bits. It’s a camo-green, with the tiniest microglitter, mostly giving it a golden green shimmer. I now feel pricelessly beautiful in my husbands old camis, which I wear constantly. Jessika always knows the right polish for me! THank you sweetheart for the fabulous find!

I’d almost compare this to a blackberry shade… dusky eggplant, maybe? It has alot of shimmer, though! I really like this one and plan to wear it alot this fall! This is a three day old mani and a pic taken quick, so pardon (always and forever) my horrid cuticles. Sorry, also, that I’ve been on such whirl around here I haven’t been up to snuff on posting and answering. Someday my rountine shall set in!

Another beauty! I wouldn’t say this is unusual really, it’s an almost burgundy wine with golden and red shimmer, and I loves it, anyway! It went on very nicely, 3 coats, my usual. 2 probably would have done the job, but I like painting my nails, so I do 3. This is a sunshiney pic so it does look brighter here than in real life. Looks more red than burgundy in the sun. Should’ve grabbed 2 pics so you could see it better!

Okay, this polish is un-freakin’ believably beautiful. 2 coats, went on like a sweet dream. It doesn’t change colors, really, but it does look a bit more wine-ish sometimes than real purple, but it shimmers like wild. Another yay!

OPI Can You Tapas This?

This is way prettier in person, much shinier. It is a kind of kidney bean color, so the photo is pretty accurate, though irl, it looks a bit darker. It’s not maroon and it’s not burgundy, it’s in between somewhere! Went on perfectly. I love OPIs. This is another beautiful creme from the Espana Collection.

A polish I LOVE as bronzes are some of my fave shades. Jessika found this beauty and thought of me! :D It is almost a one coater, but I used two because I’m an addictive painter! The formula is really smooth on this, too, very easy to apply and not thin at all (nor goopy or thick!). This is a deep bronze with a very golden flash. Baroque Bronze is the perfect name for this color. Thanks, Jessika!

Claire's Magic from Jessika

I LOVE this color! Sorry for the tip wear and day old mani. I will update this pic because it doesn’t do this polish justice. It’s so pretty, I should have re-coated it and waited for the sunshine. It’s not blue at all, it’s pure deep purple with shimmer, and when the light hits it, that shimmer glows bright purple. Very pretty shade that reminds me of purple petunias! Many thanks to Jessika for this polish! I love all the things you send to me! :D

China Glaze Gussied Up Green

I thought this was holidayish with a bit of grrr to it, so this is my mani today. ChG Gussied Up Green is a deep blackened green shimmer, dries quite fast, but went on a little thin unlike my usual ChGs. Three coats is no biggie though, especially when this beauty of a shade comes from it.

Beautiful polish, very glam, to me. A deeper shade of burgundy magenta, is the only way I know how to describe the shade. It went on great and dried fast. In different light it looks lke a brown, or a wine…. It is a very different color in my collection (which is tiny compared to many on nb!) but one that my Dh picked up for me, and turned out to be another winner!

That’s not polish on my index finger. I cut it with the nippers… take them away from me!!

NOW! This is my first of two beautiful Nfu-Oh polishes from my Secret Santa! It’s an orange flakie in the bottle, looks almost bright bronzy-copper in some light, oranges, red, yellows, greens in other light… leaves, fall time… like gold leaf painted on my nails… it’s just mesmerizing. I never expected something so beautiful!

I don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU, Lavender Pekoe, for my lovely and such thoughtful gifts! I’ll be posting the other Nfu-Oh as soon as I can bear to part with this mani. And the sweet little frog she sent to me will have his own pics, as well! He is adorable and so pretty!

A blackened blue. Like Lubu Heels for blue lovers. I cannot believe they have DC’d this polish. It’s a black base with blue glitter, and the blue is a deep aqua shade. Goes on perfectly and dries fast. I know I almost always say that, but it’s true! And important to fidgety me.

Super. Shiny. Black. You can see where I messed up there, but that isn’t Orly’s fault! I recently had a run-in with a can of pineapple, and the pineapple won, so I had to cut my nails all off, resulting in learning how to repaint, lol. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. The formula is the typical Orly wonderment, smoothing itself out as you paint. This is 2 coats.

Oh, luscious purpley, vampy goodness… you all exist in this one polish. It’s blurple. More Blue than it looks here, but definitely purple, too. Three coats here, and goes on great like most OPI cremes do. I wan’t going to get this one, but it called my name, and now, it’s mine!

Pardon the crappy swatching and mani, please! Almost what I’d call a bordeaux with same color glitter. It’s quite sparkly. I’m not a huge Essie person, as I find them a little thin and often sheer, but I found a few that I really like, and this is one of them. Very pretty, I kept checking out my nails, lol!

I Lourve it! Looks just like it does on the monitor to me. It’s a bright/deep magenta purple with magenta purple sparkles that are not too sparkly but give the polish a nice dimension and very slight shimmer. The color is definitely unusual in my collection. It looks quite dark when the lights are down, very vampy looking, but as soon as the light hits it, it transforms. Definitely a 3 coater to bring out the beauty in this color.

It’s hard to tell in the picture, but this polish has lots of tiny holo micro-glitter. It’s actually darker than a usual charcoal color, and it looks almost greenish in some lighting from the holo glitter. I found these for 4$ at Walmart, a couple of colors I liked, so I got them. They go on really well. The brush on these is very nice and easy to use, a little wider than most brushes.

Sorry for the HUGE post! I had to take it from my mua acct. Anyway, this helps you see the polish better! Black base with red glitter! What’s not to love about this polish? Shiny, smooth finish, opaque and perfectly deep at three coats.

Wow. It does look like ink, if ink were shimmery. It’s purple, but there’s some blue tones to it. Purples and blues are notoriously hard to capture, but this looks pretty right to me! Goes on famously well, of course; dries fast, looks gorgeous.
