Pardon the cut. I had a cooking accident between the first pic and the second!

Here’s a sunshiney pic of Orgasm so you can see the shimmer and flash. Okay, I bought it for the name! We’re all familiar with the blush, and this is a beautiful copy of it in laquer form. First coat, I really thought it was just a layering polish, but 4th coat, angels sang. Alot of people might not like this one because of the yellow-orangeness of it, but it went on like a dream, not too thick or thin and it works for my skintone, I think… do you think?

Here’s a pic in the shade, and it does look much pinker than in the sun, apparently because it’s not glinting all that lovely golden shimmer. But still, a beautiful polish. I think more tanned or darker skintones would sass this up beautifully.

ChG High Hopes

In continuation of the long series of Up and Aways is High Hopes. It’s less gooey than the pastels, but more gooey than the deeper hues. This is definitely on the orange side of coral, and is pretty bright! It dries a little darker than it appears in the bottle. I want to like it, but have many similar shades that apply much easier.

Peachy Keen was kind of a pita to apply. It was thick and streaky. Took 3 coats to get this. The color to me is a little less bright than in the pic, but still, it reminds me more of cantaloupe than peaches. Overall, it will be worth the pain in the butt to apply it, I think. ;)

China Glaze Dynasty

Dynasty is a gasp-worthy polish. The only drawback to me is lumpyness, but once I’m over that, all gravy. I think this polish is more coral than it looks in most pictures. It has TONS of glitter of all kinds and sizes, loads of holo! My fave from this line is Mahoganie… a brown with all this holo glitter. But save that for the next sunny day!

OPI DS Reflection

DS stands for Designer Series. All the OPI DS polishes are holos. It goes on wonderfully smooth and easy. This is a bright reddish pink, maybe coral, but pinker. The holo is random in this polish making it different than the ones from China Glaze like BFF, LOL, TTYL… that come out looking straight, linear, organized. Depends on what look you’re going for, I guess!

A soft, shimmering coral. Pardon the dent! This is a really lovely shade, goes on smooth and dries fast. It’s quite opaque for a lighter polish.

A very soft, shimmery coral. Dries really fast and has a great smooth application. These polishes are quite nice for shimmers.

Pure Ice Really Rio

Really Rio is a bright coral with shimmer. You can see Visible Nail Line (VNL) at the two coats I applied. I happen to like VNL, for some reason. This is a really beautiful shade and it applies quite nicely. Pure Ice is available at Walmart.

Gorgeous coral, superior formula. I did a really poor quality job here, but this color is amazing. My hands look terrible, though! Another “before” pic of when I was really torturing them. Too bad I did this website backwards, lol! Live and learn!
