SpaRitual Days of Wine and Roses

This is the polish that started Jessika and I talking, so it’s my favorite polish ever because I made such a good friend! It dries fast, goes on silky smooth and is the prettiest wine color with microglitter. You can see the glitter better in the second pic.

This pic is a bit blurry, but you can see the microglitter better. I hope this enlarges! *wonders how to make that happen since it always happened by accident before!*

NARS Saratoga

Another beauty! I wouldn’t say this is unusual really, it’s an almost burgundy wine with golden and red shimmer, and I loves it, anyway! It went on very nicely, 3 coats, my usual. 2 probably would have done the job, but I like painting my nails, so I do 3. This is a sunshiney pic so it does look brighter here than in real life. Looks more red than burgundy in the sun. Should’ve grabbed 2 pics so you could see it better!

Okay, this polish is un-freakin’ believably beautiful. 2 coats, went on like a sweet dream. It doesn’t change colors, really, but it does look a bit more wine-ish sometimes than real purple, but it shimmers like wild. Another yay!

OPI Can You Tapas This?

This is way prettier in person, much shinier. It is a kind of kidney bean color, so the photo is pretty accurate, though irl, it looks a bit darker. It’s not maroon and it’s not burgundy, it’s in between somewhere! Went on perfectly. I love OPIs. This is another beautiful creme from the Espana Collection.

Beautiful polish, very glam, to me. A deeper shade of burgundy magenta, is the only way I know how to describe the shade. It went on great and dried fast. In different light it looks lke a brown, or a wine…. It is a very different color in my collection (which is tiny compared to many on nb!) but one that my Dh picked up for me, and turned out to be another winner!

Essie Hot Commodity

Pardon the crappy swatching and mani, please! Almost what I’d call a bordeaux with same color glitter. It’s quite sparkly. I’m not a huge Essie person, as I find them a little thin and often sheer, but I found a few that I really like, and this is one of them. Very pretty, I kept checking out my nails, lol!

Cannot get over how gorgeous this polish is with three coats. Had to post another pic!

I had trouble finding this polish, so I picked it up as soon as I saw it. Falls right into the holiday collection, doesn’t it? Beautiful burgundy with sparkly glass shimmers, Stroll goes on great and not a chip in sight. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this alot! Gorgeous in any light!

Misa Stiletto

Misa Stiletto

A deep, shiny vampy creme, Stiletto goes on super smooth and easy. The color is deep burgundy wine, like Chianti. It’s very glossy on it’s own, but it’s so pretty you’ll want a couple layers of topcoat to save it!

For some reason, the gold just doesn’t show up great on any color. Really disappointing. The silver Princess Polish does a much better job. Unfortunately, it only comes in silver! I’m in the market for a dense gold, if anyone has a recommendation!

Essie Berry Hard

Essie Berry Hard

I hate to even call this a creme because the color is so clear and bright. A deep wine-berry color with lots of shine. No topcoat on here. It is rather sheer, so this is 3 coats, but it dries quickly. I don’t have many Essies but love the ones I do have. The application was a little streaky but the color is nice enough to put up with it.

China Glaze Side Saddle

The formula is easy to work with and goes on smoothly with little streaking on second coat. I’m wearing three coats here. The first coat, it looks like an eggplant colored base with golden sparkles. The second coat, it turns brown and more golden. The third, well, you can see it. A deep wine brown with golden shimmer. It’s a lovely shade and though I have a few similar, I think this one is the prettiest by far.

Where do they come up with these names? What a fabulous polish! Too bad it only comes in a mini size right now! The formula is super smooth and dries fast, wonderfully smooth application. It’s a shimmery deep wine red. Worth having, for sure!

Again, for 1-2$, you can’t go wrong! This is a really stunning shade, a deep wine with shimmer. It applies very smoothly and takes 2 coats.
