Illamasqua Brigitte from Rozie

Luscious juicy jelly sheer rose pink! I’m not sure it’s my color but I love it and will joyously wear it anyway! It went on deliciously smooth, this is 4 coats. Don’t expect a vnl not to show! This polish looks dripping wet all the time. No topcoat here! Thanks Rozie for such a beauty!! I am so enjoying every one of them!

Another great formula. I guess it’s just the pastels that are kinda glooppy. It’s a bright pink, obviously. To my eyes, there’s definitely no red or orange look… it’s all pink! I really don’t know how to describe it better! Hibiscus Pink?

Illamasqua Grab

Excuse my dry horrible cuticles. Trying to get them to grow back onto the nail bed! I love this polish and love the color. What else can I say? Creamiest polish ever made… it HAS to be. If you don’t have an Illa cream, you just need one.

OPI Kreme de la Kremlin

OPI Kreme de Kremlin

This one probably doesn’t suit me at all, but I love it, anyway. It’s a slightly pinkish cream nude. I only used two coats, here. Normally with an OPI it takes 3 to cover my visible nail line. It goes on great, as usual, even better as it’s a bit thicker than a usual OPI.

OPI DC Cherry Blossom

OPI DC Cherry Blossom

OPI DC Cherry Blossom

I don’t think I’d have picked up this color, but DH got me the recent release of most popular OPI polishes of the past 20 years, and this is one of them. I was looking for something cheery today and there it was, smiling at me!

DC Cherry Blossom is brighter than this indoor pic shows, and there’s no coral in sight. 100% unadulterated PINK. Almost Barbie Pink. And I love it! I didn’t think I would, but wow! It really cheered me up!! It went on a little weird for an OPI, kind of thicker and streaky, but it evened out in 3 coats, which is usually what an OPI takes for me.

I think this color is going to make a great base for a Konad this weekend! What color shall I put over it? First thing I thought was black polka dots, but I’d have to do that by hand and I don’t trust myself!

Orly Samba

Brighter in person, I think! Bright but not neon at all. This was a real cloudy day. Application is Orly lovely, and it’s opaque in two coats. Creamy. Samba is from the Carnivale Collection. This dried real fast, too!

I have no idea why I ordered this, it just called to me, so I did. It’s an opposite of what I’d usually get. It’s growing on me, though! The application was a bit of a PITA, took 4 coats to get the streaky-ness out, and even then there were some obvious “blob-o-streaks”. The color is a bright pastel pink, as you can see! There’s a peachy tone to it indoors, so I like it more! It’s 100% cream, no additives! I think I’d like this one better if it were thinner. I find CC a little thick normally.

GOSH Flamingo

Easy application, looks exactly like the freshly-bought flamingo that goes in your (or someone’s) yard! Admit it, you always wanted one…I did. Quick drying, and and a really different polish for me!

Misa Little Tease

Not a color I would normally wear, but it called out to me. It goes on fabulously smooth and not streaky at all. A little Bubble Bath-ish, but brighter. It has the slightest shimmer to it that is just so feminine and lovely. It’s not an overwhelming pink, and I don’t think it looks too bad on me, though it seems my taste in polishes comes from years of thinking I’m cool-toned when I’m really warm!

China Glaze Dynasty

China Glaze Dynasty

China Glaze Dynasty

Dynasty is a gasp-worthy polish. The only drawback to me is lumpyness, but once I’m over that, all gravy. I think this polish is more coral than it looks in most pictures. It has TONS of glitter of all kinds and sizes, loads of holo! My fave from this line is Mahoganie… a brown with all this holo glitter. But save that for the next sunny day!

Essie Tribeca

Essie Tribeca

Tribeca is a medium berry creme that goes on very nicely. I believe this is 2 coats, and I almost always wear 3. But it’s a swatch, not a full mani. I don’t fnd it quite as bright a pink as the picture shows, it’s little dustier looking, which appeals to me.

Sally Hansen Forever Lilac

Sally Hansen Forever Lilac

Forever Lilac is another micro-glitter polish. It’s like one of my fave colors in the bottle, somewhere between pink and purple, but it goes on a little pinker than is right for my warmer skintone, I think. As a summer polish, I love it. The brush is wider than most, and it makes the polish very easy to apply. I’d like to try some more colors in this polish brand, but they don’t seem to have many unusual ones that I’ve found in the Diamond Strength. But I’ll keep looking!

China Glaze Tickle My Triangle

China Glaze Tickle My Triangle

The name is enough to make you buy this polish! Tickle My Triangle seemed like a hard to find item, so I got a few discontinued holos. Lucky for me, we had some sunbreak today! They all go on beautifully and dry fast. They are random holos and I much prefer them. For pink, I like it. It does look like a very bright cotton candy pink. The holo in this one is really eye-catching!

Maybelline Express Finish Berry Best

Oh, if all polishes dried this fast I’d be the happiest person EVER! 50 seconds… dry. I used two coats here, and the formula was a little thinner than I expected, but it went on pretty well. Beautiful berry with a bit of irridesence to it.

I can’t say it enough…this polish is WOW. I added the zebra stripes and I said WOW again. My husband said WOW! It just came out beautifully. And I’m not even a big animal print fan, but I gotta say, this looks cool! ;)

Bright vibrant pink opaque creme polish that is just WOW! It goes on like a dream… I know I say that phrase alot, but this one REALLY does! I’m not usually that into pinks, but for some reason, this one is just breathtaking.

Love Misa polishes. They go on so nicely and never gloppy or thick. I went on a little Misa spree recently, so I have a lot of them to review, yay! :) Fortunately, they are pretty inexpensive, 2.50-3.00. This is one of my faves. The color is great…warm, not too pink, a little lavender in there. It’s about the only light pink that looks okay on me. I really love it!

Misa’s Runway Diva Collection is a beautiful one for fall, so I got the whole shebang because they are all beautiful and wearable. I will review those polishes next. This one went on so smooth and the color is lovely. Another warm pink that’s muted and understated, classy. Love it!

OPI Bubble Bath is a classic OPI color. I don’t know why it took me so long to get it! Goes on smoother than any other sheer I have. Dries fast, too. This one is a “gotta-have”!

Revlon Passionate Fruit Konad plate 73 & 56

Well, I am not too adventerous yet! I have only a few plates and haven’t figured out how to decide which color goes well with what, how to choose the designs, etc. So I’ve been using the same few images. I’m sorry it’s a little stale but things will pick up soon, I promise! My sweetest husband gifted me with a larger set that will be here next week! :D What a great guy I have!
On to nails!
You can see here where the design is a little clearer when I applied topcoat without touching the brush to the design. There are still smudges where I must have touched the design. If your skin is dry at all like mine is, you can apply a liberal coat of hand lotion or a little petroleum jelly (or Mango Mend) to the skin around your nails, let absorb a bit, then wipe the nail itself off with alcohol before polishing or konading. The polish won’t stick to a layer of Mango Mend too well! You can see I didn’t think to do this before now!
