Illamasqua Brigitte from Rozie

Luscious juicy jelly sheer rose pink! I’m not sure it’s my color but I love it and will joyously wear it anyway! It went on deliciously smooth, this is 4 coats. Don’t expect a vnl not to show! This polish looks dripping wet all the time. No topcoat here! Thanks Rozie for such a beauty!! I am so enjoying every one of them!

Lippman Call Me Irresponsible

The perfect polish with a name made for me! And a funny story. I kept putting off going through everything in Jessika’s last package since I had taken like.. months… to send her’s. SO I finally start going through it, feeling a bit guilty (though your package is on it’s way, Jessika!) and I dig through and find this beauty called “Call Me Irresponsible!” When I saw the name I felt terrible for a minute then laughed hard! It’s so me. I am irresponsible, and I love this polish so much I could die! It’s a unique bright purple jelly and though it required 4 coats to obtain this depth of color, I loved every coat. (I like the act of polishing so I don’t mind alot of coats. It helps cover my deep ridges, anyway!) So a silly story, and a beautiful polish. Jess reaaalllly knows me!

NARS Hunger

WOWSA. My DH surprised me with 5 NARS laquers yesterday! Here’s number one! NARS Hunger went on beautifully, almost jellyish, it took 3 coats to totally opaque. If you know me, oranges are some of my favorites, and this one is definitely going in the faves rack. DH calls it red, I call it orange, lets settle for red orange… perhaps a vintage red?

PS: Pardon me as I re-exercise my polishing skills!

I’m not even gonna pretend to know what Pucci-licious is. If you know, let me know. LOL!

Keep in mind, it’s a three day old mani (well beaten) and I just started painting again, so pardon my glaring errors! But the purple is lovely, bright and so different from any other purple I have. It went on like a jelly, sort of, but I don’t know if it’s a true jelly or not. That still confuses me. This is my summer fave purple.

Diamond Cosmetics Froggy

This is another great green from Jessika! Apparently, I don’t have enough greens here, lol! But I love Froggy, both for it’s uniqueness as a polish and as a sentiment for my love of froggies. If you like greens, or on on the fence, try this one!!

Please pardon the dreadful cuticles. Still on my “no pushing” and “no cuticle remover” routine. We’ll see how long I can tolerate that!!

This polish went on beautifully. It’s a Kelly Green pure jelly, to my eyes and nails. I didn’t use any undercoat such as a white to cover my visible nail lines so you can see how the polish really looks. This is 3 coats. I used seche vite on top, though the polish has a jelly, but not matte finish. I happen to dig shiny things. ;)

Stilllllll working on getting the lighting just right in the box, so the photos will keep improving!

Thanks for this gem, sweetie! You’re a peach!! :D

Illamasqua Rampage!

Illamasqua Rampage

Hehehee… finally mine! Another fabulous score and longtime lemming from Jessika! Thank you, darlin!!
This is creamy perfection, and any application flaws are my fault! This is two coats, and I was impatient, so… you know.
The finish is a jelly, not matte and not super shiny. I topcoated with Poshe, and so far it seems Seche Vite works better for me with Illas. The drying time was a little longer on Rampage than the other Illas I’ve tried, but nothing that would make me not wear this gorgeousness! There’s no hint of black, it’s pure, deep green. I’ll try to capture a better pic next mani and add it. The lightbox is almost ready, but my hands are not, lol!
