NARS Hunger
WOWSA. My DH surprised me with 5 NARS laquers yesterday! Here’s number one! NARS Hunger went on beautifully, almost jellyish, it took 3 coats to totally opaque. If you know me, oranges are some of my favorites, and this one is definitely going in the faves rack. DH calls it red, I call it orange, lets settle for red orange… perhaps a vintage red?

ChG Peachy Keen
Peachy Keen was kind of a pita to apply. It was thick and streaky. Took 3 coats to get this. The color to me is a little less bright than in the pic, but still, it reminds me more of cantaloupe than peaches. Overall, it will be worth the pain in the butt to apply it, I think. 
Orly Golden Jubilee
This is 5 coats, maybe 6. This polish is very sheer, but has a big impact in different lighting. It dries dry fast, though, so if you want to pile it on like this, you can! For some reason I like this polish. Reminds me of yellow-orange crayons, and oranges. Though it looks a bit less orange than in the picture; it’s really more golden.
Nfu-Oh 49 over Orly Black Vinyl
That’s not polish on my index finger. I cut it with the nippers… take them away from me!!
NOW! This is my first of two beautiful Nfu-Oh polishes from my Secret Santa! It’s an orange flakie in the bottle, looks almost bright bronzy-copper in some light, oranges, red, yellows, greens in other light… leaves, fall time… like gold leaf painted on my nails… it’s just mesmerizing. I never expected something so beautiful!
I don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU, Lavender Pekoe, for my lovely and such thoughtful gifts! I’ll be posting the other Nfu-Oh as soon as I can bear to part with this mani. And the sweet little frog she sent to me will have his own pics, as well! He is adorable and so pretty!
OPI Ginger Bells
OPI Holiday Collection 2009 came up with some lovely colors and glitters and flakies! Here’s the creme! Ginger Bells conjures up spirits of ginger men, maple syrup, caramel, and definitely pumpkin pie and Hook ‘em Horns University of Texas!! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy and it goes on GREAT, dries quickly. It needs only 2 coats, too. This is my absolute favorite of the holiday collection. Of course, I love cremes. And I love oranges. Now if they could make it smell just like maple syrup…… AH.
OPI On the Same Paige Konad m41
OPI On the Same Paige is the orangeiest of all oranges and I love it. This pattern of flowers is one of my favorite images from plate 41. I didn’t think of it as Halloweeny even though it’s orange and black. It’s more of a “Welcome to fall!” But I suppose it can be Halloweeny, too!

GORGEOUS. This polish is very opaque. Goes on like buttah! Dries quickly. A very bright, very orange creme with lots of shine. (Obviously!) I can’t say how much I love this one! In the dead of winter, this will definitely warm me up!
China Glaze Orange Pacific
Just gorgeous! Shimmery golden bright orange. Glass specks makes it shimmery, and it’s almost a glitter! The sun is always on your nails when you wear this polish! The formula is awesome smooth.
Sinful Courtney Orange
A very nice formula, and I don’t know of another orange quite like this one. It has golden shimmer to it, which is kind of unusual. Looks like the sun is always setting on it!
OPI Monsooner or Later
Just a dream to use and wear. OPI is the bomb! Very orange red, shocking but sweet shade.
