Okay, have you ever seen a more wow polish?? Rampage is the main ingredient, Jessika said! But add the rainbow holo glitter and whatever else she did to it and voila’! FANTASTIC! I feel like a million bucks in this polish. DH calls it “Money Green”, lol. So although you can’t have my beautiful little polish in its perfect little colorama bottle (awesome!) you can admire it! And Jessika, this went on like a dream… ALL the polishes you made for me did! Thanks again!!! Visit Jessika at PolishInsomniac!

Orly Vintage Jungle Love from Jessika

I’m guessing 80s-90s here? I remember this bottle style, but I have no others like it. It has a silver top. The polish is chock full of formaldehyde and toulene, so don’t even think about it if you plan on a pregnancy! MY darling sweet Jessika of PolishInsomniac sent me this baby, and I love it to bits. It’s a camo-green, with the tiniest microglitter, mostly giving it a golden green shimmer. I now feel pricelessly beautiful in my husbands old camis, which I wear constantly. Jessika always knows the right polish for me! THank you sweetheart for the fabulous find!

ChG Four Leaf Clover

ChG Four Leaf Clover

ChG Four Leaf Clover

This is my favorite of the bunch, and I couldn’t get a perfect pic of it. It’s more green, not blue at all. I was even wondering how Four Leaf Clover and OPIs Jade is the New Black would compare. The formula on this one is MUCH smoother and nicer to apply, very much like Grape Pop, maybe better. The color is really different and bright and I like it! :D YAY!

ChG Refresh-Mint

ChG Refresh-Mint

ChG Refresh-Mint

ChG Refresh-mint is quite thick and opaque. It went on streaky at first but leveled itself out pretty well. It still looks a bit chalky on my skintone, but I don’t dislike this formula as much as I did the yellow ones. It’s application is different than a usual ChG, much thicker. Not always a bad thing, I guess! Anyhoo, the color is a very pastel mint green with no hints of blue at all. Pure mint. This is pretty color accurate.

Diamond Cosmetics Froggy

This is another great green from Jessika! Apparently, I don’t have enough greens here, lol! But I love Froggy, both for it’s uniqueness as a polish and as a sentiment for my love of froggies. If you like greens, or on on the fence, try this one!!

Please pardon the dreadful cuticles. Still on my “no pushing” and “no cuticle remover” routine. We’ll see how long I can tolerate that!!

This polish went on beautifully. It’s a Kelly Green pure jelly, to my eyes and nails. I didn’t use any undercoat such as a white to cover my visible nail lines so you can see how the polish really looks. This is 3 coats. I used seche vite on top, though the polish has a jelly, but not matte finish. I happen to dig shiny things. ;)

Stilllllll working on getting the lighting just right in the box, so the photos will keep improving!

Thanks for this gem, sweetie! You’re a peach!! :D

Illamasqua Rampage!

Illamasqua Rampage

Hehehee… finally mine! Another fabulous score and longtime lemming from Jessika! Thank you, darlin!!
This is creamy perfection, and any application flaws are my fault! This is two coats, and I was impatient, so… you know.
The finish is a jelly, not matte and not super shiny. I topcoated with Poshe, and so far it seems Seche Vite works better for me with Illas. The drying time was a little longer on Rampage than the other Illas I’ve tried, but nothing that would make me not wear this gorgeousness! There’s no hint of black, it’s pure, deep green. I’ll try to capture a better pic next mani and add it. The lightbox is almost ready, but my hands are not, lol!

This color is just the same as a green index card, lol. A dusty light minty green on the blue side (as compared to true pastel mint), this pic is taken indoors and is more color accurate than I could get outdoors. I was skeptical on the first coat, but the second went on great and covered most of the streaking. You can still see it a little. I really need 3 coats for the VNL and my super lumpy nails, which I now hear can be due to vitamin deficincies, cuticle remover, pushing too hard on the nail bed, among other things. So if you have horizontal ridges like these, you might want to start on a supplement multi-vitamin, eat healthier, or better yet, see your doctor. Anyway…overall I have no complaints about the polish! Very pretty shades from AA, so you’ll see more soon! This one is a keeper!

Also I recently heard on mua about polish recalls from AA. Something to do with the bottles, I believe. If you have any, you might want to check on it! I’m going to find out more and let you know asap.

Orly Enchanted Forest With China Glaze Pixie Dust

I labeled the photo incorrectly! This is ChG FAIRY DUST, not Pixie Dust!

Goofing around, noticed that this base polish really showed off the sparkle and holo in Fairy Dust, so you can imagine what it will do to a holo! I love Fairy Dust.

China Glaze Gussied Up Green

I thought this was holidayish with a bit of grrr to it, so this is my mani today. ChG Gussied Up Green is a deep blackened green shimmer, dries quite fast, but went on a little thin unlike my usual ChGs. Three coats is no biggie though, especially when this beauty of a shade comes from it.

Illamasqua MILF loaner from Jessika

I feel terrible wearing this polish with my fingers all messed up from me torturing them + freezing weather. But I wore it anyway! Let me apologize for my not so great photo, too.

Jessika!!!! You let me borrow your bottle of Illamasqua MILF and now I’m hooked!  BWWAHAHAHAA! You’ve created a monster! ;) James says “Thanks alot!”

The cremiest creme you could ever imagine. This goes on so smooth, you can’t dent it. I stuck my finger in it before it was dry, and the fingerprints popped back out. I watched it happen. Totally opaque in 2 coats. Application dream…it fixes itself. Amazing. Beautiful perfect minty green for warmer skintones. It makes your nails look perfectly smooth. I’m definitely getting this when the no-buy ends!

Thanks, Jessika! I mean that seriously! I love it, and you are so kind for letting me borrow! I keep it wrapped up and stored safely! :D

Nfu-Oh 49 over Orly Black Vinyl

That’s not polish on my index finger. I cut it with the nippers… take them away from me!!

NOW! This is my first of two beautiful Nfu-Oh polishes from my Secret Santa! It’s an orange flakie in the bottle, looks almost bright bronzy-copper in some light, oranges, red, yellows, greens in other light… leaves, fall time… like gold leaf painted on my nails… it’s just mesmerizing. I never expected something so beautiful!

I don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU, Lavender Pekoe, for my lovely and such thoughtful gifts! I’ll be posting the other Nfu-Oh as soon as I can bear to part with this mani. And the sweet little frog she sent to me will have his own pics, as well! He is adorable and so pretty!

WnW Craze Morbid

Love. Not another like it that I have. Took me forever to locate these teensy little Wet N Wild Craze polishes… it’s ridiculous. A full three months after everyone else in the country had them! But I love them and want more. Though I must say, the color Jade is just not for me! They go on nice, the stumpy brush is weird but I already said that, dry fast. This one, Morbid, is a deep cypress green…it makes me think of eucalyptus at Pier 1, which I love, too. Lots of soft shimmer in this blackened green.

ChG Paper Chasing with ChG Sour Apple Glitter

This is the rarely noticed right hand shot! Yes, I went two days with two different manis. And I liked it. I’m such a rebel. So, you can see that it’s green. Like green apple candy. Yum, my favorite! The Paper Chasing shade goes on nice, but looks almost frosty. Once the glitter goes on you can’t tell. I did two coats on the index finger and three on the rest with one coat of Sour Apple over all of them. THere was one chip in two days, and that was from a chunk of glitter stuck to the very end of the nail! Great polish! DO wear a good basecoat, greens always always stain my nails.

China Glaze Emerald Sparkle

You might know, I’m not a big green fan. But when I saw this one on Scrangie’s site, I had to try it. It’s a very deep stunning green with glass sparkles or glitter or something. I haven’t tried to remove it yet. But it is beautiful. Goes on fabulously, stays on. Dried fast, too. This is a great holiday polish!

China Glaze Wagon Trail

Quick swatching this morning, so please pardon the boo boos. This was such a hard color to capture! A deep green with golden shimmer, dried pretty quickly and went on smooth. I might put a little thinner in here, though. It’s a very unusual shade, a must-have if you like greens.

OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow

This is a dark evergreen creme. It goes on beautifully. (Pardon my errors!) The photo is with no topcoat, so it is reaaaallly shiny! You can see out my window in my polish reflection. It’s a rare shade, and worth having!

New York Summer Amaranth

Interesting polish. This is a jelly polish, therefore translucent, so you can see the nail lines. This is 2 coats. It is a matte shade, though it doesn’t dry really matte-matte. It’s a very unusual color and applied easily but took a bit to dry. This picture is without a top coat. Pardon the smudes.

A lightly shimmery wearable green! I don’t like the formula on this polish or this collection of ChG polishes, but the color is pretty and unusual enough to warrant using some thinner. It also makes a beautiful water marbled effect. Just makes me think of tree frogs, which I love! I especially like pairing this with a black.

Gargantuan Green Grape! Never sure what to think of this polish, but I love it anyway. Reminds me of honeydew melon more than grapes, unless they are really little sour grapes! Or maybe just frozen grapes, yum!

Orly Enchanted Forest

Deep evergreen creme, one of the few greens I really like! Formula is smooth and buttery like all the Orlys I’ve tried lately. I only wish they had more color selection! At least they made a really great, wearable green! You can see where my application skills still need a little work! :D
