LH Works Skincare Experiences

While I was in Texas this summer, my cousin took me by an Esthetician that had helped her. I met Lottie of LH WORKS  and she is a delight. So helpful and sweet. She can easily do the consult and ordering by phone; she is very personable! Please let her know I sent you. She is a sweetheart of a woman, a fast-talking Texan, so have a pen and get ready to chat with Lottie! 

When I popped into her place, Electrolysis By Lottie… she does SO much more… she took the time to look at my skin and tell me what I needed. She gave me a very generous amount of samples, and I bought a little face brush. This was back in July. My SAMPLES lasted from July until November! And my skin improved, alot.

So before my samples ran out, I called Lottie and told her what my skin was doing. Weather had changed, and so had my skin. She asked me lots of questions, and recommended items mostly from her Glycolic and Renewal line, explained how to use them and when, how much… specifically! She also wrote it all down and mailed it to me so I could put it on the mirror!

What I use now:
DHC Cleansing oil or Baby Lotion to remove Makeup
Glycolic Cleansing day and night
Glycolic Pads 10% ever other day. I use a pad cut in half to save them.
Glycolic Lotion in the daytime
Glycolic Cream night or when skin feels dry in the day
Renewal Re-texturizing Gel at night
Renewal Eye Cream day and Night
Sofina Lucent Sunscreen with high PPD daytime

I also use the spot treatment from DHC, and it is really great stuff. But now usually if I have a spot, I use the glycolic wipes on it and it leaves pretty quickly anyway!

She recommends using a facial brush by Face Secrets (replaced every 4-6 weeks or sooner. They’re about 4$ and you can order from Lottie or I’ve seen them at Sally’s. She says to “scrub” your face, and neck in little circular motions, and I do! One question she asked “Are you scrubbing hard enough?” Heehee! At first it seems odd, but after the first couple of times, you will be convinced it works.

I asked her about the Clairisonic, and she said it is all the rage, but unnecessary for daily use. You can only get SO clean and that’s it. I decided against it since it was such an expense and I’d rather have her products.

What I use now is so easy, feels so good, and I can tell a big difference in tone, texture, breakouts and oiliness…even wrinkles and sunspots. I had big sunspots, and they are so much better…almost gone, imo. I can see this purging of my skin… I finally see what that means! All the gunk in your skin is really “lifted out” and sent packing for good. You know eventually it’s going to stop, because the repeating acne areas start improving quickly.   

Don’t get me wrong, I still get the usual breakouts, but they’re greatly improved. They never get to that cyst stage. And I’ve been using this line less than a month. I don’t have perfect skin, but I believe she can get me closer than anyone!

Oh, and even though it was late Friday evening when I called, she still mailed it really fast! She was busy, though, so another time would be best to call her, though she stays very busy!
